Resources for CTC Phone Canvassers Before the Canvass
Thank you for joining us for our second virtual canvass!
At the canvass, we’ll use web-based tools to reach voters. We’ve put together these step-by-step instructions as well as video walkthroughs. Everyone will be asked to use the Open Virtual Phone Bank. Some may also want to use our autodialer.
Open Virtual Phone Bank (Open VPB)
Open Virtual Phone Bank will provide names and phone numbers for the voters we contact, and also allow us to track the results of our calls. Using Open Virtual Phone Bank is the simplest way for us to get you making and recording calls on Sunday. The one downside is that with Open Virtual Phone Bank, you’ll have to use your own phone to make the calls.
If you don’t mind having your phone appear on a voters’ callerID, and/or you hate technology, then Open VPB is great for you! However, if you DON’T want to use your own phone, we've also purchased access to an autodialer which you can read about below.

Autodialer (Encouraged, but optional)
The autodialer uses the internet to place calls directly through your computer. Once you get used to it, the autodialer can be pretty great. It will make calls faster and will not require you to use your own number. But you have to install it on a Chrome browser, and for some it can be a little tricky to get the hang of.
Those interested in using the autodialer, will have to download and install the Autodialer by using the blue link below BEFORE THE SATURDAY TRAINING.
